What Silo is
Silo is an informational personal-finance dashboard. It aggregates account and transaction data from your connected banks to help you track spending, budgets, and net worth. Silo is not a financial advisor, and nothing in the app is financial advice.Data shown is retrieved through Plaid and can occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate due to how banks report it — always verify important figures against your bank's own records before acting on them.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
Use Silo only for its intended purpose — managing your own personal finances. Don't attempt to access another user's data, disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Connected accounts & Plaid
Connecting a bank account routes your credentials directly to Plaid, not to Silo. Your use of Plaid's services to connect your accounts is also governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
Silo is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the financial data shown is complete or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silo and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on data shown in the app.
Termination
You may stop using Silo and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may update Silo or these terms over time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.
